Donate A Used Coat & Give The Gift Of Warmth!

Manhattan Mini Storage Joins The Young Men's / Women's Real Estate Association To Gather Coats For Disadvantaged New Yorkers

Providing local help for the homeless this holiday season is easier than ever; from November 15th through Tuesday, December 7th, local New Yorkers can donate toys for homeless city kids at any Manhattan Mini Storage location.

(New York, NY * December 6, 2010) - Now through January 14th, New Yorkers can drop off their gently used winter coats at all 17 Manhattan Mini Storage locations throughout the city. Working in partnership with the Young Men's / Women's Real Estate Association (YMWREA), Manhattan Mini hopes to help make the cold winter months a little more comfortable for thousands of disadvantaged men, women and children in NYC.

"In this economy, more and more people are depending on coat donations, so we're happy to do whatever we can to help our fellow New Yorkers make it through the winter" said Stacy Stuart, VP of Marketing for Manhattan Mini Storage.

The coat drive, now in its 22nd year, distributes jacket donations to disadvantaged men, women and children at homeless shelters and community organizations throughout the city. After gathering 70,000 coats last year, New York Cares has set a goal of gathering 80,000 coats this season in response to New Yorker's ongoing economic difficulties.
